Role Summary:

The Insight Executive plays a key role in the delivery of research projects, supporting senior members of the team to achieve optimal outcomes. Specifically, they contribute to the design of research materials, analysis and reporting and ensure fieldwork runs smoothly.

The vast majority of their time is spent on project work but they will also have opportunities to get involved in other company activities e.g. planning company socials, leading on EDI initiatives, presenting to colleagues at monthly lunch and learn sessions etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively support all team members throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the project meets all deadlines and Kadence quality standards
  • Drafting research materials, including recruitment screeners, discussion guides and questionnaires, for Director review and amending materials upon receipt of feedback
  • Manage external suppliers and oversee the fieldwork process to ensure all agreed quotas are met
  • Support Directors in managing suppliers project costs and work within project budgets as far as possible
  • Take on a key role on report development, charting slides in PowerPoint, ensuring they clearly communicate findings in a visually compelling manner
  • Work with the design team for additional design outputs, such as videos, infographics and personas
  • Contribute to enhancing client satisfaction through being proactive, responsive, helpful, enthusiastic, curious and interested in the category and business and producing best-in-class reports, presentations and outputs
  • Support Directors in securing new business by obtaining quotes from external suppliers and contributing to the creation of proposal slides

 

Desirable Qualities / Skills / Experience:

  • Insight agency experience
  • A consultancy approach to insight i.e. identifying so what from the data
  • Strong technical ability of research methods (quant and/or qual)
  • First rate PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
  • Client & team focused ethos
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in fast fast-paced environment
